We are a family stud based in Aberdeenshire. We have 200 acres of natural grazing which we share between our suckler cattle herd, sheep and horses. We are completely family run and all care about individual needs in each visting mare which allows us a very high success rate of mares in foal. We liase well with our vets to ensure that costs are kept low for each individual mare owner.

Our aim is to give the opportunity to breed quality horses and ponies with correct conformation, safe trainable temperaments with the ability to do well in any discipline and whatever is asked of them.

We stand 3 stallions of our own, all with exceptional temperaments, free athletic movement, correct conformation and a fantastic jump.

Rutherford Dancer a thoroughbred with an outstanding sporting pedigree, Brookwater Indigo Bunting British Riding Pony himself a Supreme Champion and proven sire of HOYS and RIHS ponies and Dorridge Top Button a Champion New Forest Pony who has sired many champions at national events, he is a wonderful proven british sports pony. All my stallions are CEM and EVA tested, Fully vaccinated and have a clean bill of health.

We also cater for walk in stallions. For 2012 we are privileged to be standing on behalf of Miss C Chisman the outstanding stallion Small Land Entertainer, a Riding Pony Stallion with a proven show record and pedigree, he holds 3 Supreme Championship wins and 11 Individual Championships just achieved in 2011.

At Lesmore stud we can offer 100 acres of good electric fenced grazing for visiting mares, stabling for mares and foals, indoor covering area, a dummy mare fully adjustable from 11hh to 17.2hh available to outside stallions with relevent CEM and EVA certificates, monarch stocks, A.I. facilities with fresh and chilled semen, frozen semen available through my vetenary practice,we have a fully equipped laboratory, DEFRA approved A.I technician and we can inseminate any mare with any stallion from any where in the country / world.
